2006..Week 1~
i ushered 2006 in a rather quiet manner.. watchin tv at home alone, wif my parents both in Shanghai and my sis in pulau ubin.. but was glad to receive greetings from friends.. =) 1st week into the yr was rather bz with lotsa stuff..
started hall stayin (again) on tues.. roomie is quite a nice person, yr 4, material engine ger.. small and petite.. and jus like me, we are both very stressed over fyp.. a complete different picture from our toiletmates who are first yr students (one in marine and another in bus) who are loaded with hall committments.. very happening.. well, thoses were the days for us too.. the environement is good, close to canteen, close to bus stop and of course jus a short distance away from SRC! but the room is abit too cold at night, esp with the weather turning cold these few daes.. brrrr... did not quite sleep well for the first few daes.. was waken up jus after 3 hours of sleep on my 2nd dae by a dream.. dreamt of someone.. and after tt, i tossed and turned on my bed for the rest of my nite, or maybe, morning.. jus couldnt get into sleep again..
sch started this week.. employment law lecturer is quite a nice chap, considering that he shd be coming wif a law background, he's not tt boring since he tried to 'spice' up the class wif some of his personal opinions and jokes.. but like all laywers, they spoke damn fluently.. wif all the law jargons though.. change management class was ok, but i jus sit thru the class with nothing registering in my brain.. maybe due to the lack of sleep in hall..
but academic stuff aside, played a game of badminton after class with my sisters.. great game, gers.. let's have another game somedae next week? and yeah, went back to work on fri.. not as part-timer, jus to offset the off dae i took last month.. yet to consider whether to part time there though.. still waitin.. and on my mind still, the US thing.. high tendency for mi to cancel it.. sorry, deb and sini.. but i was so pissed with the reply from the US side, jus dun wanna put myself at the disadvantage when i go over there..
