NBS Convo Ball 2006

a million thanks for those who spent much time on organising this event.. it was a wonderful night.. a beautiful evening which the ladies came in the best dress, hairstyle and makeup; and the gentlemen came in their best suit..

spent majority of the time snapping fotos away (posted the photos.. but once again, pics became abit distorted).. and of cos, as usual, the 3 tables of HRC graduates are out to sabo the guys.. sabo-ed ray, zhonghan, lionel as the tallest,the most chatty, and the most hairy respectively..

the post dinner chill-out at Penny Black was fun as we gather to play 'zhong ji mi ma' with the forfeit of truth/dare..

overall, i mus sae tt it was an enjoyable day..

the only regret was i dint really have the chance to take a photo with someone - the person who left me the most beautiful memories in my uni life.. though it was jus 1 and 1/2 months, they were my happiest days.. i tot i would have forget everything after 1 year, but yesterday, i realised that the memories have nv left me in the first place.. and i do miss him somehow.. how i wish things did not turn out tt way then, how i wish i can change the situation, but the ball has nv been in my court..

Convocation 2006

yay!! finally graduated!! 3 cheers!
felt totally like i was in the harry potter wizards school today when all of us were walkin around in our academic dresses.. the ceremony, though short and *ahem* boring.. but i think it mark the end of our academic life (at least for the time being).. and i muz really thank my dear mommy and daddy for supporting me this far.. THANK YOU!!!
nwae, its a day of looking out for familiar faces and snapping fotos.. but i muz say i am really REALLY shocked that ray did the closing speech for the ceremony!!!! he represented NBS business, and of cos, he represented HRC too! 'WOAH'

finally.. a break

having worked for 2 consecutive sats is taking a toil on my mental health ( i guess it applies to my teammates as well..), but luckily, i am claimin time off on mon and tues.. yay! been quite bz at work with alot of job orders coming in, and facing the problem of manpower shortage on our side.. think it gonna get worse coming next week when our temps gg to leave us for their uni studies.. but nvm, shall think abt tt when the time really comes.. last week saw the leavin of very nice NUS interns from downstairs (MCD).. Lawrence and Janice.. very friendly and sociable pple.. hope their stay in coy is a nice and enjoyable one.. wish them all their best in their final 4th yr back sch..

sometimes i jus wonder if this coy is really THE coy for me.. sometime i jus wonder whats the career progression.. sometimes when things gets real frustrating, i jus got so fed up and really wanna look for other jobs, given the fact tt they keep delayin the contract.. but sometimes i jus feel that job hoppin dun really do a person good and sometimes i jus cant find the time to type out a proper resume to send.. how contradicting..

well well, nvm.. gg for the convo on tues!! graduating, with the 'shi fang mao'.. though its jus gettin on stage to shake hand with the dean, but it is sth tt will really touch the hearts of most parents.. and bet will be takin photos on tt dae.. and dun worry deb & sini, will post it up so u all can see them also.. will leave some space for photoshop-ing too! heee..

met up with some of my jc classmates on fri.. pple like edwin, gy, andria, emma, david, ravel turned up.. quite a nice gathering, i shd sae.. did catch up with wat they are busy with nowadays.. and realised tt i can jio alot of pple out for lunch in the future.. hr classmates like Zc, lionel, lala, desmond, shiling, sam, etc.. pple workin in KP like andria, xiuhui, jon, kl, etc.. or pple workin in EY like zh.. pple in deloitte like jess seems abit too far to jio though.. woahh.. quite alot, but there again, sometimes im jus lazy in sms-ing pple.. haha

someone did make a comment tt i changed alot (not much of appearance, but mentally i guess) .. im not surprised. time flies, and pple do change.. last 1 yr is jus enuff to make a person change.. and im glad tt i did pick myself up and move on.. i did not hestitate to left my 7270 at nokia care today for repair, i did not hestitate to acknowledge tt all my data, pics will be gone.. well, i guess i have truely put down all the memories tt held me back and move on..

well well, world cup fever is on in my office.. pple placing bets and jio-in each other to watch the finals at chijmes.. hahaha.. still contemplating if i should go on sun.. the match's at 2 plus AM can?! and we are supposed to be there at 6pm!!! but a good thing is i got a day off on Mon.. not solely cos of the world cup but to collect cert in sch.. =)

yay.. we are graduating!! less than 20 days to the convocation and to the ball..

S-T-R-E-S-S-E-D

beginning to understand how badly stress can affect health.. waking up in the middle of the nights, can't really sleep well and by the end of the week, pure exhaustion..

was held up at company function at ritz carlton on mon, company GEMS day.. so there went my whole morning.. and when i got back to office, it was a mad rush of things.. sending out emails, calling pple up, administrative matters..
tues wasnt in the office for more than half the dae as I was out helpin at the event for my team member..
weds in the office was super busy when i had tonnes of things to do, preparing for the recruitment event on thurs.. tt's my ever first event tt i did, wholly and solely by me, myself.. yay! alot of planning and coordination went behind tt..
and came thurs, the so called big day (for me), was in office in the morning, double checkin tt i got all the stuff in order and was out at 11am, headed for the event.. it went well generally, though the employer wasnt exactly too cooperative and with some thing cocked up in the middle.. nevertheless, at least i dint stumble in my presentation (dint burst out laffing..lolz), dint really screwed up, and of course, cldnt have done all tt with the help of my team members, the temps, the interns from the front line division, and the shuai ge downstairs.. hopefully the placement wld be good, so tt i wont be arrowed in the next meeting.. *pray hard*
fri, though it was last dae of the workweek, it wasnt for us in the team as today, sat, was out helping at my team member's event at suntec.. wakin up so early, can!!!! 7.30am reach suntec lehz.. siao liao lahz.. i nv been to suntec so early lohz.. but luckily, the mac breakfast tt our boss bought for us make up for all the sianness and the 'y-are-we-here-so-early' feeling in us.. the event went well, and we ended day with giving us a good pampering, late lunch at the nice jap restaurant at marina sq.. the one tt have super nice ice cream (the one jus next to billy bombers)..

nwae, 1 thing tt i gathered from this week experience, i m not the person tt shd take cab for long rides.. felt so pukish after travellin from tuas back home!! gosh, and i lost my appetite for dinner .. *faint*

well well, all that left me with onli ONE dae to recuperate at home.. and another stressful week awaits me with another event on thurs.. >.<
