missing out..

was out on recruiting event at clementi today, and for lunch, we had it at SIM (thanks to my boss who drove us there) Its my first time i step foot in there.. quite a good experience, but it brought back some good memories.. not in SIM(since i nv went there b4), but all the good times i had in NTU.. eating lunches with frens, sisters.. all the discussing of projects, gathering at a table with a lappy and over a drink or meal.. all the tokkin crap and crackin jokes.. oh manz, i love school (minus exams lah).. not tt i dun like wat im doin now, jus tt, yes, i miss sch, my frens, and my sisters.. i miss studying..

oh well, good thing is i get to go out of office 3 days next week.. and hopefully i am granted permission to go to c*hangi p*rison one dae next week.. an eye-opener for mi..

lappy have been down, so tt explained my absence.. so now its up and workin again, shall see mi online more often.. alrite, quick updates.. went to the HR dinner @ coffee club at Hotel Rendezvous on the 10th of May.. quite like it though the food wasnt good, jus tt its good to catch up with frens over dinner..

went for a few interviews and now landed on a job with one of the stat board.. so its fighting with the morning crowd everydae.. and i have to stand all the wae to raffles place, since its at shenton wae.. but guess will see some familiar faces ard, since there's a few big 4 cos situated in blgs ard, and oso within my own co.. maybe some of the business/hr students..

haizz.. i dread the coming of june.. hope it will be a peaceful june this year.. time flies, and it really did..

send offs.. =(

sent off wanting on fri, and sent off debbie n sini yesterdae.. yes, sendin pple off is a damn sad occasion can.. think half of us who were there ended up cryin.. boohoohoo..
dint cry on fri, cos the impact wasnt tt great.. cos wt wld be back in aug, and maybe can still see her online.. but the impact began to set in when she left.. 1 less msn chat partner, 1 less shoppin kaki, 1 less person on the mj table, 1 less aunt agony.. den come yesterdae, it was a super emotional dae.. cos of the impact which has been gathering from tt time wt left, and cos from lookin at the ppt tt deb sent, the msgs tt steph n gina left, n oso lookin at the video tt i made.. all the memories, the things we all have done in the past 2 yrs, and cos they were gg to a place where connections were not tt readily available, and lastly cos they are gg to mackinaw- a place tt i initially wanna go, made the intention to go, but pulled out.. though do feel abit of regret, i know i wont thrive in such a situation.. but glad they had go along with their dreams, and im sure they will have fun there.. both independent gers.. muz take care of each other k..wanting, debbie, sini.. miss u all sooooooo much!! take care!!

the sun, the sand and the sea..

coming back from the vietnam trip, i left for sentosa on the very next dae.. joinin my other sisters there..

despite the heavy rain early in the morning, we left to play luge when the rain stops! short trill, i muz sae.. luge, beach vollyball, and all the games tt we can think of.. haha of course, when the sun goes down, we went to watch the musical fountain (...kiki n princess pearl.. lol).. and we found fun in walkin thru the merlion fountain, wadin thru the ankle length level and siam-ing all the water sprouting out from some of the holes.. played like as if we are still young..

like usual, we found a place near coffee bean, sittin there, and chatting thru the nite.. talkin about abt our life, our childhood.. well, i muz sae.. i do enjoy myself very much.. too bad the thing tt i spent months doin cant be saved so i cant show u all, i will find a solution to it eventually.. =) thks gers for these wonderful memories..

following the 3D2N genting trip, i left for a 4D3N trip to Vietnam..
quite an eye opener since i have nv been to Vietnam b4.. its a developing nation, so cant expect much from there.. one thing tt amazed mi is the number of motorbikes on their streets, and of cos, their drivin skills.. i think its a 50 bikes to 1 car ratio on the road, and they simply juz whiz past u (sometimes missing u by a few inches).. there's not much of traffic lights around, so u jus gotta jaywalk.. one thing tt i learnt when crossing the road, walk slowly! they will jus drive around u..

went for sight seeing on one of the daes.. cuchi tunnels and some of the religious blgs in the xtry.. i shd sae tt they are very clever people.. building the tunnels to defend themselves during the war.. there isnt much things to shop ard there, very much like in bangkok.. but their ice cream is sellin at such a low price!! i ate a choco ice cream (swensen equivalent) at jus SIN 1.40 bucks! and their food ard quite good.. spring rolls esp..
